Video Games And Violence
In almost every mass shooting, there has been a video game created to glorify the tragedy.
V-Tech Rampage and the Slaying of Sandy Hook Elementry are two horrifying video games that were created by Australian man Ryan Lambourn. Disconnected from these crimes completely, he is opening the minds of young impressionable adults to thinking that crimes like this are acceptable. In both games, players take on the roll of the shooter and gain a false sense of control and invincibility. Sadly, these things severly damage those who already are on the edge of a break down.
Doctors even state that families should ban violent video games, it’s proven time and time again that they have a negative effect on nearly everyone.
Some may argue that not all video games are bad, but studies show that nearly 90% of video games promote violence.
This is something that needs to be changed.
